Breakfast time

Colorful Smoothies :-

1- Banana
2- Strawberries
5-6 Blueberries
1 scoop- Vanilla protein powder
1 packet- Instant flavored oatmeal.
1 cup- Vanilla flavored Soy milk

Blend all the ingredients together. Your pink protein shake is ready! My kid loves it. I hope yours will too.

Petting zoo in San jose

We had taken our little one to the Emma Prusch farm park in San Jose. Its off of 280 and King road. Lots of petting animals. A great place for toddlers that are learning about pet animals. You can feed ducks, pigs etc. Summer is here and its a great place for picnics. There is a huge park right there too.

My curious little one turns 2!

For my curious 2 year old, I baked a curious george cake on her bithday. It came out pretty well. The recipe is simple. I used a basic chocolate cake recipe from the hershy's website. I used a chocolate frosting recipe from the Williams and sonoma website and frosted the cake. PBS kids website has a lot of interesting curious george stuff for your curious little ones!

A healthy tasty meal

After a long travel ( yah, 5 days seem long with a toddler) to NY, we came back home yesterday. My daughter who was bored with mac and cheese wanted some color in her pasta. I made butternut squash mac and cheese:-) It tastes yummy! Trust me. Puree butternut squash and add it to cooked pasta and sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Healthy, tasty and colorful!

Why is this store not here in Bay area? My daughter loved this place in NY. Floors and floors of dolls wearing cute outfits. You can buy a doll of your choice, match an outfit for your daughter, take the doll to the hair salon, have a tea party with the doll...Oh, my daughter loved it.

My First ever blog

Hello Friends,

This is my first ever blog- my first ever post. Thanks to the new class I am taking right now, I get to create a blog, write about my thoughts and share my 2 cents with you about toddlers. Yah, all about toddlers and my experiences with one of my own and many others around me. My daughter is going to be 2 in 3 weeks - Tantrums, tastes, likes, dislikes, anger, drama, tea parties and the list can go on and on. I will be updating this blog with a lot of fun stuff which will include everything from childcare to cheerios. Cooking being more than just a passion , I end up creating interesting and fun meals for my girl and ofcourse its healthy from start to finish.
